It’s time to keep up with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s romance.
The SKIMS founder shared some new details regarding her relationship with the Saturday Night Live host, specifically about how she felt “BDE action” after they shared their first on-screen kiss.

The 41-year-old business mogul joined Dear Media’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on April 12 where she revealed feeling drawn to the comedian after their SNL skit in October last year. Host Amanda Hirsch asked if she felt the “BDE that everyone talks about” after the kiss, the reality star answered, “When we kissed, I was just like, ‘Hmm!'”
“It was a stage kiss, but it was still a little zing,” Kim added. “It wasn’t anything like a super, crazy feeling.”
It also dawned on her that she hadn’t “kissed anyone else in 10 years” which made her thought, “I just got to get myself out there.”
She recalled, “A few days later, I was like, ‘Hmm, there is some BDE action.” She also remembered feeling bummed that Pete wasn’t present at her after-party following her SNL hosting. “I thought about it later. I was like, ‘Damn, he’s the only person who didn’t come.'”
Kim and Pete first sparked romance rumors late last year after they were photographed at Knott’s Scary Farm in California. However, she revealed that it came after they “privately” spent time together at the Beverly Hills Hotel. According to her, “We just chilled, hung out.”
With regard to their relationship timeline, Kim said during the podcast that she knew about the comedian but it was only during the 2021 Met Gala in September that they first connected.
She shared, “He had been asking around for my number a little bit. I saw him at the Met and he knew I was hosting SNL but it wasn’t announced yet. He came up to me and we were talking about SNL.”
Kim recalled telling him about how “nervous” she was about hosting and he actually offered to give her his number in case she needed advice.
She said, “I had gloves on and I couldn’t get into my phone.” She was wearing a black full-body outfit at the Met Gala. “We never connected or anything until [SNL].”
