Seven months after they welcomed their son, Cardi B and Offset finally revealed the name of their second child on April 15.
The Migos rapper took to Instagram to share a photo of his smiling child having his bath time at home complete with a lot of bling. He captioned it, “WAVE SET CEPHUS.”
Cardi B also shared another rare pic of the new family member wearing a light blue beanie with a matching fur jacket and sneakers. He also wore a silver necklace. She captioned it with emojis of a dinosaur, wave, and teddy bear.
So what made them decide to share details about their son? The couple’s family will be on the of ESSECNE’s 52nd anniversary issue. The issue will include family portraits of the couple and their youngest child.
In September 2021, the couple announced that they welcomed a baby boy and that their three-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus is now a big sister. Offset has children with his past relationships: Jordan Cephus, 12, Kalea Marie Cephus, 7, and Kody Cephus, 7.
Cardi B talked about how parenthood has changed her life and how she remains determined to work hard and pursue her dreams. She told Vogue in their January 2020 issue, “I could shake my ass, I could be the most ratchet-est person ever, I could get into a fight tomorrow, but I’m still a great mom. All the time I’m thinking about my kid. I’m shaking my ass, but at the same time I’m doing business, I’m on the phone with my business manager saying, make sure that a percentage of my check goes to my kid’s trust. I give my daughter so much love, and I’m setting her up for a future. I want to tell her that a lot of the shit that I have done in life — no matter what I did, knowing that I wanted to have kids made me go harder to secure a good future for my kids.”
Just recently, Cardi B deleted her Twitter account after she was bashed for not attending the 2022 Grammy’s. The “WAP” rapper took to Twitter to express her frustrations, especially to those “dragging my kids”. She also mentioned that she needs to protect herself.
