Charlie Puth is spilling the truth about his sex life.

In a recent interview with Bustle published on May 31, the “Attention” singer revealed the reason why he can’t have sex while listening to music at the same time. He’s been open about being horny on his TikTok account where he has more than 16 million followers.

According to him, “I will analyze the music playing in the background and I’ll start to see the music notes in my head and I will not be able to get hard.”

Further, he’s famous on TikTok for being a musical nerd; identifying the note of just about anything. Though he has trouble getting hard with music in the background, he revealed that the first song he masturbated to was none other than Maroon 5’s “This Love.”

He said, “Now I’m good friends with Adam Levine. [I told him] and he was like, ‘That’s really weird.'”

The 30-year-old singer shared that he wants those listening to his music to be turned on. He added, “This is a really weird sentence,” he continued, “but if you took the instrumental only of my music, I want people to almost get turned on by the frequency.”

Charlie may be open when it comes to talking about sex, he considers himself a late bloomer after losing his virginity at 21 after his performance in Boston.

He told the outlet, “This girl came up to me and was like, ‘Can you sign my chest?’ I was like, I feel like a rock star. I never saw her again. She was lovely, but it makes me sad sometimes because I wish the older version of me was like, ‘Hey, you might want to just make this like a little more memorable.'”

Charlie is basically a sex symbol on TikTok. He also shared that he turned to the app during pandemic for relief. He shared, “The internet saved my life in 2003 and it saved my life in 2020.”

The Grammy nominee doesn’t mind the reactions of those who have seen him on TikTok because he likes being himself and get reactions from others. He said, “I would be more offended if somebody opens up my TikTok and they have no opinion about it, if they were indifferent. I want them to be either very angry about it or in love with it.”

He’s not all about being a sex guru on TikTok because he also shares how he makes his music. One time, he shared some behind-the-scenes of one of his new songs from his third studio album called “Light Switch.”

He said, “I was taking myself too seriously, and TikTok kind of humbled me in a way—some videos wouldn’t do as well as other videos, and some songs wouldn’t be received as well as some other songs. I got that information in real time. It wasn’t, ‘Oh, well, I have 16 million followers so I’m great no matter what.'”
