Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman revealed to E! News on June 5 on the red carpet of Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival the number of individuals who asked her about the couple.
She said, “More than I want to admit.” She mentioned that she’s happy knowing people are interested in the show and that having “eyes on the show is great.”
The actress added, “And I met Kim. I really loved her. Yeah, she was cool.”
Kim and Pete started seeing each other after she hosted SNL in October. The two portrayed Princess Jasmine and Aladdin in one of the sketches and they kissed each other while “riding” the magic carpet.
That time, Pete didn’t attend her SNL after-party. What she did was calling up the show’s producer days later and asked for his number.
The reality star continued, “I text him. I wasn’t even thinking like, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to be in a relationship with him.’ I was just thinking like, ‘Heard about this BDE. Need to get out there….I was just basically DTF.'”
Kim and Pete eventually became a couple. They’ve kept much of their romance private. They had their first red carpet appearance as a couple in April. They also attended the 2022 Met Gala together.
Pete said goodbye to SNL two weeks ago. He had his final appearance as a cast member together with Kyle Mooney, Kate McKinnon, and Aidy Bryant.
Chloe told E! News, “It was crazy emotional. Like when Kate went off to space. Everyone out there was crying, like a makeup artist, a crew member. So, that kind of set the tone of the show. It was just really bittersweet. I felt really lucky to be at that episode. And my best friends from home had finally come to see the show, so it was extra special.”
