Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed their first child together.
The former One Direction member posted on his social media account to confirm the good news.
He tweeted on Wednesday, September 23, “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

At first, fans speculated that they had already welcomed their baby girl after the supermodel’s dad, Mohamed Hadid, took to Instagram on September 16 to post a handwritten note that read “Grandpa’s Heart”. He also captioned his post, “In the name of God the merciful I want to say l love you and so proud of you. @gigihadid.”
Gigi and Zayn spent the last few weeks before their baby arrived in the model’s Manhattan apartment in New York.
The couple has been dating on and off since 2015 and confirmed that they were expecting their first child earlier this year. The supermodel talked about it to Jimmy Fallon during her virtual appearance on The Tonight Show. According to her she wished they could have announced it on their own terms. But they we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.
She talked about her experiences on being pregnant amid the pandemic. She said, “Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”
This is her first pregnancy and she preferred to keep everything private and personal as possible to enjoy the moment. She explained that she was writing on her journal a lot. She didn’t share much on her social media about her pregnancy because she wanted to experience it on a more personal level.
However, Gigi Hadid shared her maternity photos to the delight of her fans. She posted on her Instagram a series of photos taken by Luigi and Iango. She expressed her thanks for the love and support people have given her throughout her pregnancy journey.
