It’s been almost two months after Khloe Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson welcomed a son through surrogacy. Now, the Good American co-founder is ready to share their journey to having baby no. 2 on the second season of The Kardashians.
Based on a teaser trailer released on September 20, Khloe revealed, “There is something I’m ready to talk about. Tristan and I are having another baby.”
She was fighting back tears while saying, “And it’s supposed to be a really exciting time, it’s just a different experience.” The duo also shares a four-year-old daughter, True Thompson.
Khloe didn’t detail the whole story in the said teaser, but fans are aware that the news of their second baby came months after a paternity test confirmed that Tristan has fathered a child with another woman.
Based on the teaser trailer, momager Kris Jenner herself sympathized with her daughter, saying it was hard to watch her daughter “in pain.”
Despite the hardships, Khloe remains hopeful. She said, “This has been a difficult time in my life. But it’s the start of something positive and happy and beautiful.”
Tristan’s paternity scandal went viral in December 2021, just a month after their son was conceived. A rep of the reality star said in July, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.” The baby boy was born in August.
Khloe told Elle after being a mom of two, “I know it’s cliché, but I love everything, even the hard parts. I [my kids] challenge me as a person, and being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift.”
“We have to take those roles seriously, especially in today’s day and age, with how much accessibility children have and the information they’re exposed to so young,” she added. “It’s super scary, but I take my job very seriously. I love it so much.”
