Kanye West returned to Twitter for the first time since November 2020 over the weekend after finding out that Instagram restricted his account following his alleged anti-Semitic post.

He called out Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO and Meta Platforms, by tweeting, “Look at this Mark How you gone kick me off instagram.”

“Who you think created cancel culture?” the 45-year-old rapper added in another tweet. A few hours later.

The Donda artist’s account was restricted last Friday after sharing a since-deleted screenshot of an iMessage conversation with Sean Love Combs, a.k.a. P. Diddy. Based on their exchange, the 52-year-old artist asked Kanye ro “stop playing these internet games” amid his latest rants on Instagram. The rapper answered back saying, “This ain’t a game. Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

According to a statement released by Meta to CNN Business on Saturday, the rapper’s post was taken down for “violating the company’s policies and a restriction was placed on his account.” The statement did not specify “what was objectionable about the content or what kind of restriction was imposed.”

Elon Musk, who’s been considering buying the social media platform, tweeted, “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!” Kanye retweeted the said post, too, and even tested Twitter’s tolerance by posting a tweet that’s been deleted before for violating the rules of Twitter.

According to Variety, West “claimed that he couldn’t be antisemitic and said he had been ‘toyed with’ by the Jewish people.”

This isn’t the first time the rapper was banned from social media. In March, he was suspended for 24 hours after attacking comedian Trevor Noah. A spokesperson for Meta explained that he violated the company’s policies regarding hate speech, bullying, and harassment.

The rapper explained in an interview with Tucker Carlson, “When I have techniques that are revolutionary, if I raise my voice on Instagram, it’s a colonic and people can say, ‘Oh this what you’re doing is toxic,’”

“I gotta do everything to get it out of my body and there will be times that I see a level of oppression and I’ll be like, ‘I’m not going to let you guys kill me.’”
