Emily Ratajkowski opened up about her split from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard for the November cover story of Harper’s BAZAAR. She admitted feeling angry but also assured that she’ll “be OK.”
The 31-year-old model told the outlet, “I feel all the emotions. I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. Every day is different,” she revealed.
“The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I’ll be OK.”
Ratajkowski also shared that she’s been dating. In fact, she was recently spotted with DJ Orazio Rispo. However, the model said to “give me time.”
She also reflected on her dating history telling the outlet that she used to be a “bit of a ‘pick-me girl’” because hasn’t decided yet on the qualities she wanted in a partner. She explained, “I really wanted to be chosen. It was hard for me to go on a date with someone and think about how much I did or didn’t like them. I would have been thinking about how they were perceiving me, what it meant, what they wanted from me, what it meant about my self-worth.”
However, Ratajkowski admitted she isn’t like that anymore, saying, “Now it’s really fun to go to dinner with someone and be like, ‘Cool. I really enjoyed these parts of them. I really didn’t like these other parts.’”
Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard share a son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, 1. According to her, being a mom made her change her priorities in life. “I’ve never had such clear priorities before in my life,” she said. “Number one is Sly, and that’s that. It’s made me re-evaluate what’s important to me, like, ‘What do I want to teach my son?’”
The “Gone Girl” actress’ interview was published a few days after she was seen making out with Rispo, 35. She also recently sparked romance rumors with actor Brad Pitt, 58. The two hung out together but they were keeping their relationship casual.
Ratajkowski filed for divorce from Bear-McClard in July after allegedly cheating on her. The two got married in a courthouse in 2018 and welcomed their son in March 2021.
