The actress shared the message on her Instagram Stories on February 13. She also reshared a video of the rapper recording and cheering Rihanna on during her Super Bowl Halftime Show. He was in the audience watching his pregnant girlfriend’s performance. Olivia shared the clip and wrote alongside it, “If I thought he was hot before, this really put me over the edge.”
She shared a follow-up message on her Instagram Stories, “For anyone who got it twisted. It’s hot to respect your partner. Especially when your partner just did thaaaaaat.”
Olivia was referring to Rihanna’s 13-minute epic halftime performance during the Super Bowl. The singer delivered a stunning number which also included a surprise pregnancy reveal. She and A$AP are expecting their second child together after welcoming their first-born in May last year.
Following her controversial post, Olivia reflected on her relationship with Harry Styles by reposting on Valentine’s Day an excerpt from John Steinbeck’s letter to his son in 1958, which talks about different kind of love.
He wrote, “There are several kinds of love. One is a selfish, mean, grasping, egotistical thing which uses love for self-importance. This is the ugly and crippling kind.”
“The other is an outpouring of everything good in you—of kindness and consideration and respect—not only the social respect of manners but the greater respect which is recognition of another person as unique and valuable.”
Finally, the letter stated: “The first kind can make you sick and small and weak but the second can release in you strength, and courage and goodness and even wisdom you didn’t know you had.”
The 38-year-old actress and the 28-year-old Grammy winner had been together for almost two years. There’s no blood between the two celebrities following their split.
Olivia was engaged to Jason Sudeikis before being in a relationship with Harry. They have two children: Otis, 8, and Daisy, 6.
