The actress posted, “There has been no third party reference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons.”
The Transformers star continued, “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now.”
She concluded her post with a prayer hand and purple emoji. She also turned off the comments section and unlike before she deleted her account, she now has zero followed accounts.
Megan made fans wonder about her relationship with MGK after she deleted her Instagram posts with pics of the rocker. She also shared a cryptic lyric from Beyonce’s 2016 hit, “Pray You Catch Me.” She also narrowed down the celebrities she was following to Harry Styles, Eminem, and Timothée Chalamet.
Many fans left their comments on her post, with many speculating that she and MGK split. One user even theorized that he “probably got with Sophie,” referring to Sophie Lloyd, MGK’s touring guitarist. Megan replied, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”
Sophie’s management team cleared the air by responding to the cheating allegations. They told Page Six last week, “Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media. Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue.”
Her team added, “It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Since Megan deleted her account, she and MGK were spotted together twice. In fact, the two spent Valentine’s Day together.
Meanwhile, MGK hasn’t addressed the cheating rumors publicly.
Megan and MGK started dating in 2020. The “twin flames” got engaged in January last year.
