Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge tied the knot on Saturday, April 22, in a lavish wedding in France.
The 24-year-old socialite’s sister, Nicole Richie, took to Instagram the day after her sister’s big day by sharing an intimate pic of Sofia before saying “I do.” She captioned it, “I love you more than anything.”
The photo featured the 41-year-old “Simple Life” alum wearing a black gown and straightening her sister’s long train. Meanwhile, Sofia, who was wearing a custom Chanel wedding dress, is seen looking back over her shoulder, beaming at her big sister.
Sofia and Elliot, 30, got married at the exclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. Her beautiful dress at the ceremony composed of an embellished train adorned with white and iridescent beads. She also added a personal touch to her train with “something blue” and the initials “S&E” and the date of their wedding sewn on her train.
Sofia told Vogue before her wedding, “We created the top of that dress and made it bridal-y. It is such magic. I honestly think Elliot is going to love it. He is my biggest cheerleader when it comes to anything I wear.”
She jokingly added, “If he doesn’t cry, I’ll be very sad.”
Sofia also wore another custom Chanel gown during rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. After exchanging vows with the British music executive, she changed into a short white dress with a camellia flower on front.
She shared with Vogue about her look for the reception, “I can dance, [and] I can move.” She intended to do a lot of dancing and eating in the dress to celebrate her big day.
She added, “I love it! It’s traditional Chanel. I will be eating pizza and fries in this dress. Pray for this dress. It will be my life’s mission to make sure nothing happens to it.”
Many celebrities were also in attendance. Singer Lionel Richie was there to walk her down the aisle. Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum were present together with actress Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden. Tiktoker Jake Shane and influencer Marianna Hewitt were also at the wedding.
