Kim Kardashian West opened up about what it was like caring for her husband Kanye West when he had COVID-19. According to the reality star, the experience was physically and emotionally challenging.
The mother of four was interviewed by GRAZIA where she revealed, “Kanye had it way at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown.”
Kardashian said that no one else was there at their house to help. The couple were alone with their four kids namely North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and one-year-old Psalm. She recalled that she had to go and change her husband’s sheets while wearing gloves and a face shield.
In addition, the KKW Beauty founder also told the publication about the family’s decision to finally end Keeping Up With the Kardashians after 14 years. She mentioned that the decision stemmed from the exhaustion of doing the show this long. She said that when they made the announcement, it was an emotional day for everybody and she cried all weekend.
Kardashian explained that they never imagined that the reality series would be a success and that they would get onto the second season. However, they surpassed it and they’re on the 20th. She added that sometimes they just need a break and a minute to regroup.
According to the SKIMS founder, they haven’t had a break for 14 years. She explained that they’ve gone filming a season and then a spin off and admitted that they live such big lives. She also added that they have kids now and they need them.
The show’s final season was shot mostly remotely and was filmed during the pandemic. She said that the episodes will be interesting and featured what they were doing during the pandemic.
Kardashian also explained that it was during these times that they were scared and cautious and they shared every moment of that with their fans. She also shared her experience wherein she had her four kids and didn’t have their friends or their routines, plus she had no help. According to her, it was a different side of them which she thinks nobody has really seen before.
