Eva Mendes shared that her ambition is coming back especially now that her children are older.
During an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, the Hitch actress opened up about wanting to go back to acting. She has two daughters she shares with Ryan Gosling namely, Esmeralda, 6, and Amada, 4.

Mendes revealed during the interview that as far as her ambition is concerned, it didn’t go away. However, it only shifted onto their children. In addition, she was there for an interview to promote an upcoming event under the Ronald McDonald House Charities which played a big part in helping her cousin’s family when they need it the most.
“I applaud and look up to those women who can do it all, but I’m not one of them. Thankfully, I have a choice not to work and I realize how fortunate I am that it’s even a choice. I’ve been so happy to be able to incubate with my babies, but now they are four and six, I’m starting to feel like my ambition is coming back,” she explained.
The 46-year-old actress also mentioned that it’s all about her kids during the pandemic together with the 39-year-old actor.
“Sometimes it feels like we are running some kind of bed-and-breakfast with very drunk and aggressive guests,” she said jokingly. “We really do feel like we are working in a hotel, and the guests are angry and bossy and demand food brought to them. And by the time they go to sleep, we’re left to just clean up and talk about how they’ve treated us that day!”
She continued, “When we feel like we’re just ‘in it,’ like all parents do during these times, we remind ourselves that these are the good times, because we’re all together and we’re all safe right now.”
Mendes hasn’t been in a movie since 2014 and as far as the type of role she wants to portray is concerned, well that changed, too. Now that she has children, she’s considering any role from Disney. She explained that she’s more extreme now when it comes to the roles she wants to play because she’s already a mother.
As reported earlier, Katy Perry got back to work soon after giving birth.
