Ariana Grande just dropped her latest music and it’s epic!
The Grammy awardee unveiled the lead single of her sixth album on October 23, entitled “Positions” and treated fans to the music video which was directed by none other than Davey Meyers.
She sings the lines, “Switchin’ the positions for you / Cookin’ in the kitchen and I’m in the bedroom /I’m in the Olympics, way I’m jumpin’ through hoops. Know my love infinite, nothin’ I wouldn’t do / That I won’t do, switchin’ for you.”
Prior to the debut of her latest single, Ariana left a clue on her Twitter account by tweeting, “heaven sent u to me.”
The multi-awarded singer also took to Instagram to hint about her upcoming album. She wrote, “i can’t wait to give u my album this month.” She also revealed the name of the album along with a video of herself as she wrote the word, “Positions”. The album is expected to drop on October 30.
Meanwhile, her brother Frankie Grande felt excited for the singer. He wrote on his Instagram, “So proud of my little sister and can’t wait for the world to hear #Positions.”
Positions is Ariana’s sixth album which followed her back-to-back albums Thank U, Next in February last year which was all about her break up from Pete Davidson and Sweetener in August 2018.
The 27-year-old singer has moved on and is now in a relationship with Dalton Gomez. She made their relationship Instagram official in June this year before she turned 27. If fans could remember, she posted a smiley face together with a selfie that showed the pair snuggling. She also celebrated her birthday by channeling Florence Pugh from the movie Midsommar with a flower crown on her head.
Fans had a quick peek at her their love story in May when they appeared in the music video for “Stuck With U” together with other celebrity couples such as Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber.
Ariana also released another iconic song with Lady Gaga entitled “Rain on Me”. She performed the song with the Chromatica singer during the MTV Video Music Awards in August where they were nominated for several awards.
