Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost finally decided to tie the knot in the midst of the coronavirus scare.

On Thursday, October 29, Meals on Wheels America revealed via Instagram that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost got married in a special ceremony together with their immediate family and loved ones. It was posted with a photo of the Staten Island Ferry and the playful usage of the phrase “Jost Married.” They also reassured that the proper guidelines and safety precautions for COVID were met as directed by the CDC.

For a meaningful cause, the couple used the jovial event to encourage their fans to contribute to a special organization in honor of their marriage. To make a difference for helpless older adults is their wish as a newly-wed couple, Meals on Wheels America continued with its caption as they encouraged people to donate with a link in their online bio.

The couple was first reportedly linked in May 2017. The actress’s publicist then confirmed in May 2019 to The Associated Press that Johansson, 35, and Jost, 38, were happily engaged. Prior to Jost, the actress has undergone two previous marriages with Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011 and Romain Dauriac from 2014-2017. She had a 6-year-old daughter named Rose with the France native.

Johansson gushed over Jost in December 2019 when she joined Saturday Night Live as a host. At the time, she recounted that the place means so much for her where she met wonderful friends and the love of her life.

On the other hand, Jost admitted that he feared being branded as the Black Widow star’s boyfriend after they started dating. The comedian confessed this worry during a July episode of The Howard Stern Show. Jost shared how tough it is to keep his own identity and doing comedy at the same time. He also thanked his luck when the other cast of Saturday Night Live liked Johansson when she was the host.

While the couple remained discreet about their wedding plans, Michael Che, Jost’s cohost in the Weekend Update, teased his part in the nuptials earlier this month. On the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he even joked that he wanted to attend and just disrupt everything; otherwise, it would be too smooth for the couple. Michael believed that letting him in would be a big mistake for the loving pair.
