For the first time since the Dominic West drama, Lily James was spotted in public with her friend and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again co-star Dominic Cooper.
The two were spotted dining at Lemonia, a Greek restaurant in London last November 2. This is the first time that the 31-year-old actress was seen in public after packing on the PDA with West in Rome last month.
The actress was wearing a blue top and black pants underneath a navy blue coat for their dinner. However, she covered her face from paparazzi with a black hat. On the other hand, the 42-year-old actor was wearing a blue shirt and jacket with his black pants. An eyewitness told E! News that Lily had a business dinner with Cooper at Lemonia together with another friend. The source added that they were friendly and got along well. The actress was sitting across the table from the actor and they had wine and Greek food. After they were done, they sat, talked, and laughed for a while. They were the last to leave the restaurant when they closed at 10. The source said they left together and took a cab.
James and Cooper have been friends for a while. They worked together in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again which was released in 2018. Cooper is in a relationship with Gemma Chan for a long time.
This may marked James’ first public appearance after the episode with West last month but she did appear virtually during The Tonight Show last October 21.
Meanwhile, last October 13, West and his wife Catherine FitzGerald stepped out of their home in Cotswold and kissed in front of paparazzi as if to prove that their 10-year marriage is stronger than ever.
James and West made headlines recently after they were photographed in Rome on October 11 as they rode a scooter to go sightseeing and had lunch with Angharad Wood. However, a source told E! News, “At the end of lunch, Lily sat next to Dominic and he couldn’t resist kissing her neck and stroking her. They then visited the nearby church, and Dominic placed his hand on Lily’s butt.”
Another insider told E! News that James was embarrassed about it. “She was shocked when she saw the photos and his story that he is happily married. She wants it all to go away and is just laying low hoping it will pass quickly,” the insider added.
